I am rolling with these now b/c I don't think the lines will get any better on these particular games:
INDIANAPOLIS +3 (-125) (PUNCHOUT PLAY) (NFL Preseason Game of the Year) (if you like the Colts, pound this now b/c they might be favored by game time)

I'm going against Duke today. I kow how poorly marquis has been playing and I know that Duke is the man but if I can get st louis at a pickem against a team that has as little talent as the pirates, I am going to hit it HARD. How can you not take the cards at this price??? Duke is good but he is also a rookie.
That is my only play today
By the way ---- does anyone know of any good suicide pools? PM me if you do.

All right went 2-0 ATS posted on my last one for ya before leaving as we hit on the Drays as a dog and nailed the total play. I'll be back with my GOW tonight. Just wanted to post "Say Hey" and I want Joe Weaver's take on the Duke tonight. I've been right on every Zach pick so far except one..and Weaver has nailed all of em except one. So Joe, if you get the chance, give me a :"Go," No Go" or lay off in your opinion. I personally like it, but the Cards are the Cards.

I originally had a Game of the Week, but I'm gonna hold off til Wednesday where I see a very nice opportunity for some easy cash. Here's my three plays for tonight
BEST BET SIDE:
Bravos -110 ML @ Cubbies. Williams and Thomson must go.
BEST BET TOTAL:
Roll on over 8 1/2 in Mets/DBacks...Vargas/V. Zambran must go.
BEST BET DOG:
(Also my BEST BET OF THE NIGHT)
Roll on the Seattle Mariners +120 @ Texas.
If a lot of you are shaking your head this time of year in MLB, just remember some key points:
1.) Many call ups and looks at new and young players. This will come into play a lot more on totals than it will on sides.
2.) Shut downs:...as in Roy Halladay will get shut down for the year as soon as the Jays aren't elgible.
3.) Out of playoff contention: many teams will rest their everyday players on a more frequent basis..so if your looking for pop from the Rangers..you'll see Gary mathews Jr, David Delucci, and Richard Hidalgo playing instead of bashers like Mench, Texiera, etc. For real, check out your lineup card before you book a play.
4.) Playoff locks: Once a team is locked in and can do no worse or no better than their current spot, fade them. Last year Billz and I played AGAINST the braves after they clinched, AGAINST the Cards after they clinched, AGAINST the Red Sox, Yanks, after they clinched. You know what, all of em lost. So if you see a funny line the day after a team clinches for the playoffs, play against them. They are drunk, hung over, probably still smoking a cigar, and the scrubs are in. YOU CAN NOT LOSE MONEY FADING PLAYOFF CLINCHED TEAMS THE DAY AFTER THEY CLINCH. Just be consistent.
That's all I got. Some takes, use em if you like em. Stuff em in the can if you don't. New week for me on GP...Let's roll fellas!

Like the over PC .... Pitch count for Duke has me a little concerned but he pitched a gem last time out BUT the lineup that night the METS put on the field was WEAK (injuries Cam & Mike ect..) That being said I feel it may be like his start he had before the Mets game he gives up some runs but the Bucs win one! OVER 8! My take!

I have a great late play and I just slammed it for GOW money. I'm rollin HARD on Dodgers over 7 1/2 against the Rockies. Hurry if you like it, it's going up. But I think this is a no brainer. Weaver is 0-1 with a 9.00 era in 2 starts against...similar numbers for Wright. Rocks are good in this spot on the over trend wise. I think this is a no brainer and the pub is on the under...No Dream Weaver tonight..or maybe the Dodgers cover the number themselves.
