Hello All,
Long time viewer, first time post.
My curiosity got the best of me to see if there was a way I too could handicap MLB. I'm a long time sports fanatic, and like winning no matter what I'm doing.
So, this is a home laptop brewed system I put together over a couple of weeks. I put it through the paces starting Saturday, and have gone 6-2 with it including two underdogs the man was trying to sneak past us. One was CWS on Saturday, and the A's Monday night. One note, I only evaluate games with a ML < -150. I will include hot and heavy favorites in parlays when it makes since, but will not play the huge favorites alone as the loss with them is like 3 losses on value lines.
So without further delay:

My play is on the horrid Baltimore Orioles +195. Sir Syd got his Krispy Kreme fix on the flight out and is now READY to pitch. 1st base coach Rick Dempsey will put on the spikes and Catch while we move Javy to 1st to cover for Raffy. With teh Dempster catching Syd we expect a blowout! Laying the house on it.

Atlanta Braves @ Cincinatti Reds UNDER 10.5 (Sosa/Ortiz must start)
(Yesterday BP of BallinPicks put out his biggest play of all; his 5* "Above Any Other" on the UNDER involving the Braves! Was an easy victory for him! Today we roll with the UNDER involving the Braves once again! Jorge Sosa is taking the mound for the Bravos! Sosa has been a STUD in the ATL Uniform! Pitching consistantly! 6-1 Record with a 2.63 ERA! And in his last 3 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA! Then we look at Ortiz! Well he isnt a stud but in his last 3 games he is 2-0 with a 3.72 ERA! Ya cinci is a hitters ballpark and yes Ortiz is 10-0 on Overs in Home Games this year! Well Trends are set to be broken! That is one trend I won't let change my mind on this game! Both pitchers are pitching WELL of late, and I will bank on it! This game MOST LIKELY will have some runs and may be scary! I just think in this matchup today 10.5 is too many runs to give! I will back this Under as my freeplay!

Good all around day yesterday goin 3-4, good call Bags the rig was in on Santana throwin on ESPN but i'll take what I got and bank er. So far today I have 3 plays in but am studying a few others this afternoon.

One of the rare times everything I look for lines up.Starters....two of the best in the NL.Carpenter has been unreal.His record in Busch is 7-4 with an era of 2.64 and a whip of 1.13.In 88 home ip hes only allowed 4 HR this season, The Cards are 9-1 in his last 10 starts ant the under is also 9-1 in his last 10...Willis's road #'s arent to shabby thereselves (6-3, 3.43 era and 1.16 whip), and looked good again in his last start against the Pirates, some say he had an ankle injusry right after the break that is 200% now., The Marlins have been in a slump offensively scoring only an avg 3.4 runs in their last 7 games..Finally Doug Eddings, great under ump....with his 65% strike rate and low 274 ppg pitchcount (4.5 bb/g) ,he should make things tough on the batters tonight.Add the injuries Rolen ,Walker, and perhaps Delgado again (Marlins are 1-4 Under when he sits) and I like this total.
I know I dont' usually go this in depth in the forum but I am in love with this total, enought that I have never put so much on one baseball game (only football hehe), Ricky my man if this hits I'll buy one of every gotpicks shirts and mugs (but I don't want the damn trucker's hat)
Lay wood on this under fella's it pays even money and every just adds up to an under. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

fellas can't decide on my top play today so i won't play anything.
i was torn between yankees ml and over 9 runs cubs/phillies. Take which one you like better but these are my top two favorites tonight.
