Great night last night. Missed my parley because of freakin CWS, aside from that swept my card. Although there were some real squeakers (Atl,Atl under, Dodgers RL, Mets/Roks under, STL)
New day and there are some games that look awful tasty. So far =
Pitts -124 (Zack Duke is a machine)
Stl +115 ( a dog to a team that has lost 8 str8? Peavy shelled last outing)
CWS -155 (won't drop 2 in a row to KC will they)
NYY +129 (minny dropped last 10 in Ny)
Good luck

BP on "GP"
Todays Selection 7/27/05 : Status Pending
Selection: Oakland A's ML (Haren/Elarton must start)
(The A's are one of the Hottest teams in the Majors as of now and loss last night 2-0 to the Tribe. Cleveland is 2-5 SU in their last 7 games after scoring 1-3 runs. Oakland gives up one of the fewest hits per game in the MLB! Oakland is 25-5 as a Home Favorite this year from 170's to 200's. The Indains are 4-19 in Road Games in which Elarton has pitched in the last 2 years. In Oakland, on Home Turf being one of the Hottest Teams playing against a sub par pitcher, regarldess of the 170ish line, Im backing the Oakland A's as my Free Play!)
Let's see if we can keep picking winners here!!!!! Good Luck Fellas!!!!
Yesterday's Post 7/26/05: WINNER
Selection: Nationals / Braves Under the Total
(Smoltz has been an ABSOLUTE ANIMAL in his last 8 starts! Livan has been for the majority of the year besides his last 2 starts. Washington is 1-5 (O/U) in their last 6 games, and 1-4-1(O/U) in their last 6 away. Atlanta is 2-4 (O/U) in their last 6 games. Both teams have their Studs on the mound. After Livans "Mental Breakdown" last game he may have something to prove! Play the UNDER as our Free Play!)
Mondays Selection 7/25/05: WINNER
Selection: Chicago White Sox RL w/ Garcia on mound!
(Kansas City is without a win (0-9) this year against the Pale Hose Sox, Garcia and the White Sox are 7-0 on away games where they played back to back home games! Without a doubt Greinke has pitched better in his last several outtings, but the fact still remains AGAINST The Pale Sox the Royals are 0-5 when Greinke Starts! Garcia is a stud on the road this year! Back the Pale Sox)

First, let me apologize for my thinking out load post. Takis - you are right, I did err on Mr Vegas and should mind my own picks. Mr Vegas - I agree with you about MLB, wholeheartedly, and I know your picks are solid and have been in the couple of years that I have been following the boards - CBS and then this one since Jan 2004. No need to apologize about the Mets pick. I was already on that one and several of us thought it was a good pick which, to me, means that it was. But, like you said, one swing of a bat...
About my picks - last week I broke even and Sunday was just pathetic. I also don't feel like compiling all those plays into a record, so I will start with Monday:
DET even (lost)
HOU -1.5+135 (won)
LAD -1.5+170 (won)
Tuesday (couldn't get on to post)
KC +198 (won)
Also rode BP's pick listed above.
I am up 4 units this week. It has started out good.
This may sound crazy, but I'm gonna see if KC can do it again today. The line is up to 150 so I am taking it at that. I may have another pick later.
KC +150
GL All.

I'm not betting that much lately, but I'm in love with a total tonight. I really like the over in the Dodgers/Reds game. Since Cincy has gone to a youth movement, we have seen a lot of runs produced and a new brand of baseball from the Reds. The Dodgers have been resurgent thanks to the return of Kent. Ramon Ortiz and Jeff Weaver are hit or miss pitchers. Both have talent, but neither have been able to string quality starts together. I'm a big fan of the over in this game and it is my first bet of the week. Good luck if you roll with me.
JOE WEAVER>>>> Thanks for the good words. We've been swappin picks (mighty Pitt panthers during the college hoops..Joe knows his team and when to play or fade them. Looking forward to college hoops and NFL totals as well. Have a good one.
MLB TOTAL PLAY FOR ME TODAY:
Roll on the over 8 1/2 Dodgers/Reds tonight in CheyRavine? (Como did I spell that right?)
Have a good one all. Reallyslammed at work so I don't chat much anymore. GT, Tak, BP, Pak, Slammo, Rickkyiddy, RCman, Glen, Joe Gibbs, Vegas, Sunday, and the rest..keep slammin the man. See you guys soon as we slow down at work this summer!

I totally forgot..I've ridden on all 3 of his starts and this is no reason to jump off the train.
ROLL ON ZACH DUKE (again) at -115 ML on the road against the Marlins and Ismael Valdez.
I don't know if anyone outside of the Pitt area knows this, but the Fish have serious problems with the Pirates..and tonight it continues
TODAY's card:
Dodgers over 8 1/2
Pirates ML -115
Good luck and slam the man.
