A little absence's form the betting world, but let's see if we can pick up where we left off.

Nothing big, but I do like the matchup with Brown against Santana.

Theory says that the Angels like to put the ball in play, Good things happen when you have contact. Brown should give them plenty of opportunities to do so.

I will revert back to the Twins being dogs and will use the same theory here. The Yankees won't be dogs many times, but I have to go with the sinker ball pitcher here and take the juice instead of giving it away.

    NY YANKEES ML + 105

2 Units is a good wager for this game.

    Good Luck 2 ALL and

Sunday, that's a good call on the Angels/Yanks. I've been playing that series so far and I agree, Yanks will get to Ervin early and often on Saturday. Here's my card fellas

3-1 ATS yesterday Won on KC ML, San Fran over, and the Angels, lost on Oakland under from the posted card.

    TODAY's CARD:

TREND PLAY 2-2 ATS so far on the San Fran over @ home after the all star break.

Play on over San Fran 8

TOTAL BEST BET: Game 1 of Detroit/Minn over 9+100

Here's why: look at this cut and paste of games played head to head this year. Billz and I used to slam the Twinkies/Tigers overs last year. They always seem to score. Could be the familiarity of playing each other 19 times the last 4 years in the AL central. Check out the scores this year:

Apr 12 MIN MIN 5-4 Rincon Percival

Apr 13 MIN MIN 8-4 Lohse Johnson

Apr 14 MIN MIN 10-4 Radke Robertson

Apr 22 DET DET 5-4 Percival Mulholland

    Apr 23 DET PPD

    Apr 24 DET PPD

Apr 25 DET DET 6-4 Farnsworth Rincon

Jun 21 MIN DET 7-2 Bonderman Lohse

Jun 22 MIN DET 8-1 Robertson Mays

Jun 23 MIN MIN 6-2 Silva Johnson

Jul 21 DET MIN 10-5 Santana Johnson

Jul 22 DET DET 12-6 Maroth Mays

Every single game except for Jun 23'rd hit 9 or over. I will play both overs today, but will roll harder on the 1'st game of the doubleheader due to subs in the 2'nd game.

    SIDE BEST BET:

Cincinatti -115 against Milwaukee..Claussen vs. Santos

Cincy is on a 6-2 tear ML win @ home since the all star break. Their only 2 losses in that string were to the Cubbies and their stud pitching.

Side note...Cincy is on a 6 game over streak. I'll take those big sticks flying out of Cincy field anyday. There are very few teams that can match Cincy's HR potential and I can't see Brew Crew going toe to toe with them. The pitcher's matchup defiinetely favors Claussen. Santos has crumbled in his last 2 road starts as the Brewers have given up 11 runs in both of his last starts.

    Roll on Cincy -115

    UPSET SPECIAL:

Chicago Cubs +195...after last night's heartbreaker, I think you'll see the Cubs put up a very competitive effort today. Morris has been great as of late, but is due for a letdown. Jerome gives room for hope and gives us great value as +200 dog. Here's the cut and paste from CBS:

CUBS PROBABLE STARTER: Jerome Williams (2-3, 4.96 ERA). Williams is 2-1 with a 4.08 ERA in five appearances, including four starts, for the Cubs since being acquired in the deal that sent reliever LaTroy Hawkins to San Francisco. The right-hander allowed four runs and six hits over 6 2-3 innings in Monday's 9-4 win at Cincinnati. He is 2-1 with a 2.35 ERA in four career starts against St. Louis. On the road this year, Williams is 2-1 with a 4.78 ERA in six outings

I'm banking on the Cubs to have too much pride and ability to get swept by the Cards and Morris. They upset the boys today in Busch. (I hope.)

    Play on the Cubs +190ish
