It has been a few months since I posted, but this line is too good to pass up.

    White Sox -125

Garcia is lights out against the Tigers (4-1 2.5 era last year). I could not find his numbers pitching in day games--maybe someone can to add to this--but he is one of those guys who pitches great in the day light. Tigers had their spirit broken the past two nights. Tuesday--tying run on third with no outs in the ninth inning and did not score. Wednesday--bases loaded in the 8th of tie game with no outs and did not score.

I think I will roll with DETROIT +115, only b/c everyone everywhere likes the White Sox! No reasoning! Just going against the public! If I lose, I am the idiot!

Man, was Texas too easy or what! Sorry for no write-up, but here is my write up for tonights game..

    St. Louis Cardinals -1.5 -120

There are so many reasons why we should pick the Cardinals tonight, and I am going to tell you why. First, let's just say that they know that the Cubs have lost and are looking to put some more distance between themselves and their rivals, knowing that they picked up a huge boost when their two aces came back and dominated. Cardinals just dominate the first game of a series, going 20-6 in the first game. They send Jeff Suppan to the hill, where he was dominant in his last start, before giving way to the bullpen in the ninth after a big lead. At night, he pitches with a 6-3 record and 3.11 era. But we are not putting it on Suppan's pitching, but more on the Cards offense. Jeff Francis goes up against this loaded offense, who averages 5.5 runs a game and 5.0 runs against lefty starters, batting at .277 average at home. Compare that to Colorado's road offense of 2.9 runs a game on the road and there is a mismatch in itself. Franics's last road game , he pitched well at Baltimore, who has a good offense also, but not compared to St. Louis. His road era is at a very high 7.21 , with a 1-4 record. And at night, his era is at 7.20! Have I forgot to mention that the Rockies road record is 5-31! After splitting in Colorado, I think the Cardas are well aware that they can not lose the games that they are suppose to win, knowing what the Cubs have now. Look for Suppan to have a better outing against the Rockies than he did last time out at Coors, where every pitcher has been known to struggle. Vegas also setting the ml very high, so that tells me that they are expecting the same thing. RL looks to be right on, but I think its going to go higher come game time. Big play right here. The play is on the Cardinals run line, set at -120. Good Luck to all!!
