Ok..The Rangers really stunk it up last night, but I am coming back with a winner today. So, here it is..
San Diego Padres ML -115
Today , we go with Brian Lawrence and the Padres tonight at Dodger Stadium. In Lawrence's last two road games, he has pitched 7 inn 2 runs vs Milwaukee, 9 inn 3 run at SF. Lawrence also has good career numbers against the dodgers, with a 3-0 record, and also pitched well against them this year. He pitched well into the eigth inning, after allwoing the dodgers to tie it up. This is virtually the same lineup he will have faced on the 23rd. Dessens, in that game, struggled and only went 4 innings, throwing 93 pitches. The dodgers have played well against San Diego, but I do not believe that they sweep the series. Yesterday was a toss up game with two rookies on the mound, but today, clearly the Padres have the pitching matchup in their favor. Lawrence's career era vs the dodgers at Chavez Ravine looks to go be lowered as he will try to go his 7 innings. Also, lets keep in mind that the dodgers offense over the last ten games have only been hitting at .219. The most they have come to near doube digits is 6, and that was on the 22 vs the padres. Last night, they scored five. Dessens has not gone past 6 innings yet this year, and with LA's bullpen not being very sharp lately, with their 4.18 era, look for the Padres to knock him out early. The padres are also 16-9 in Game 2 of a series , while the Dodgers are 9-16. Padres will not get swept in this series, so I am actually glad they lost last night. Tonight is their best chance to win in the series and I think they get it done tonight. GL!
I am also playing the Blue Jays with Halladay on the mound. Kazmir is a legit pitcher and I think will be great.....next year. This is his first full year and he is having to go through the growing pains. Going up against a legit Cy Young candidate in Halladay, no way Jays get swept in Tampa with him on the mound. Jays will also be a play for me! GL to all!!

Willis shut them down last time, he will do more of the same but let up at least 3 runs. Fla wins this game 6-3.

2 plays I like alot tonight:
Twins RL -105 (Silva hot...KC not. The Royals are 0-7 on their nine-game road trip, during which they have scored just 23 runs)
Hou/ Col UNDER 10 +100 (Clemens road ERA is 0.00 and is 2-0 in five road starts and has allowed just 16 hits in 32 innings on the road. The Astros have managed a total of 11 runs in those outings)
