...For those that remember..axd717 was a great hoops capper and we came up with a system for consensus plays. It wasn't always posted, about twice a week. Today, we have recently been chatting again and we have our 1'st consensus play of 2005.
ROLL ON UNDER in the Pistons/Spurs game....we are both STRONG on this play. Here is my reasoning..axd has his own reasons for the under.
This is a game #7. Both teams are going to play knowing that if they lose this game..it will be extremely hard to win the NBA Finals. Detroit winning 2 in San Antonio..has only been done by 1 team in the NBA this year. (San Antonio owns the best home ATS record in basketball by the way).
San Antonio on the other hand..will be hard pressed to come back emotionally and physically if they get beat down today....
translation...both teams will play with their backs to the wall. These are the top two teams in NBA total defense, NBA scoring, NBA % percentage, steals, and top 3 in blocks. Every possession today will be hard fought. After the 1'st quarter, I doubt they will break 42 points in any quarter.
I love the under 172 1/2 and so does axd...we had an incredible season on consensus plays although our first 3 posted on gotpicks went 0-3. Take care and roll with us if you like.

ALl right on to MLB...2-0 on the hammer and strong plays the last two days and hitten like a mofo..here's what I got for today:
Best Bet Dog: Roll on Washington and Loaiza +115
Best Bet Total: Roll on the under 9 -120 in Cleveland/Arizona
Best Bet Side: Seattle -130 ML Meche and Glavine.
CWS: although not posted here..undefeated (3-0 ATS) so far in the College world series. I'm a huge fan of this tourney and have been to it numerous times. So far..all the favorites have won games 1-4..as we approach elimination games..start looking for the dogs to come through. I like one dog today and it's a balls play..but roll on Florida +195 against Nebraska tonight @ the Johnny.

Went 2-0 yesterday in baseball winning with the Braves and Indians. Here are my plays for today:
1) Mets/Mariners under 8.5 (-115) 1 unit - Mariners have gone under in their last 7 games and Mets have not been able to hit the ball lately.
2) Pistons (-3.5) - Detroit knows they need this game and then hope to steal one in San Antonio. They played a great game in game 4 only having 4 turnovers. Detroit will continue to play great defense and shut down the Spurs again.
June record:
MLB 16-11 +3.5 units overall 57-48 +5.65 units
NBA 3-0

It seems as if the tide has turned after two blowouts by the Pistons! The home team looks as if it might blow up the the road team in every game! Not so fast, my friends! The team with the middle three games of the NBA Finals at home always has trouble winning all three! In fact, it has only happened once, and that happened to be last year when the Pistons did it to the Fakers! The Spurs will rebound in a big way, led by the main man, Duncan, who is coming off two sub-par performances! My play is:
SAN ANTONIO +3.5
Also, SAN ANTONIO +150 (ML)
