I see this series going back and forth. The Pistons have found a way to win a big game when they have needed it over the past two years in the playoffs. Therefore, my play is on:
DETROIT +6
Money Line Play:
DETROIT +250

In Game 1 of the Finals SA Won at Home 84-69.
Det shot 37.7 % FG while SA shot 43 % FG.
Det had 12 turnovers while SA had 15 with a total of 18 blocked shots between the 2 teams.
Total of 153 pts scored and 69 pts for Det was lowest for 1st game of championship since 1954.
Det took a 13 pt lead in the 1st Q then their ship started to sink.
Billups was Det only player to play up to standard scoring 25 Pts with 6 asst.
R Wallace only shot 3 times in the last 3 Q's and didn't score during that time.
Det only scored 32 pts in the 2nd half.
Today we have game 2 in front of us.
After the poor Det offencive performance during last 3 Q's of game 1 I see coach Brown wanting to pick up the pace in game 2.
Half court game was not there vs the SA.
Tonight I like total bet because Detroit can't win a game if he only concentrates on defense.
What surprises me that Detroit is almost constanly shooting around 37% while their opponent 45% and higher.
Knowing that it's very surprisingly that Detroit came all the way to the finals.
I think Spurs like to play fast offense no matter if they play Phoenix or defensive minded team like Detroit.
Of course they play defense but key to Spurs winnings is stable offense - something Detroit lacks constantly in this playoffs.
Since defense won't win games for Detroit (even if all 5 starters put 15 points that's only 75 points and you can't win any game by scoring 75 - especially not in final series) I really think that Brown must engage in more offensive style of Detroit's playing.
Pick: total OVER 170.5
Like 2 more prop bets for tonight:
1st) Which player will score the most points?
Richard Hamilton -1.5 @ 1.90 vs Tony Parker +1.5 @ 1.80 at BetAndWin
Been looking playoff stats for both players and found next interesting data:
- Hamilton plays 43.4 minutes comparing to Parker's 37.2 minutes
- Hamilton averages 20.6 points comparing to Parker's 18.5 points
- Hamilton averages 47.1% FG comparing to Parker's 44.9% FG
All these 3 stats (minutes played, points made and FG %) are favoring Hamilton.
If we look at game 1:
- Hamilton played 39 minutes, had 33.3% FG and scored 14 points
- Parker played 41 minutes, had 41.2% FG and scored 15 points
Just by analysing game 1 we see that Hamilton played less minutes and had lower FG % then Parker but only scored 1 point less then Parker.
Pick: Hamilton -1.5 @ 1.90 to score more points then Parker
Note: BetAndWin.com set the max. payout to 250 euro so the max. stake is 131.58 euro.

Spurs -5.5 ... been waiting for this line to drop enough...
I dont see by any stretch that Spurs walk away with this, but come the last couple mins, spurs will stretch out 6-8pt win...
just for the record, my thought towards the totals is that it stays under - just... 170 is very tight... but these teams play defence, to think that it will suddenly take off is highly unlikely... this isnt pistons-heat game 6/7, this is Spurs, and spurs ball is slow ball. thats also Pistons ball and they are not very comfortable forcing a higher pace especially if it ends up meaning taking bad shots... these teams like to move the ball to find an open man for a high percentage look, thats eating clock, and with such good tight defenders on both sides, then its going to stay slow and low. (just my opinion - but 170 is very tight to play with any seriousness - in fact I hope it does go 180+ and books re-adjust totals for game 3...)
