All right fellas, an absolutely horrible night (not posted) for me but I have 3 plays I love today....let's roll.
MLB TOTAL BEST BET: Roll on Seattle/Washington under 8. Here's why:
Let's start with Moyer and Seattle: In his only career start against the nationals/Expos he was a 3-0 winner in June of 2004. Lots of new faces, but Moyer is an aging vet who is very crafty. He reminds me of the old pitcher in the movie Major League. No heater, but crafty and knows how to pitch out of a jam. Seattle is playing decently right now...taking 2 of 3 from a talented marlins squad in Dolphins stadium. Moyer is throwing on 5 days rest where his lifetime ERA on 5 days rest is 2.72. Moyer has also allowed 3 or less runs in his last 3 starts... Point: The old man can still get it done and is used to doing it. His road ERA this year is astronomically high over 7...but his last road start was a 3-1 loss @ Baltimore..a team that can rope!. Seattle has added some desperately needed pop, bu they are still the Mariners. Speaking of backend of careers, how about Boonie? His numbers have been mediocore. Suzuki is not having the season he is used too and actually striking out this year. Suzuki is also hitting 182% in his last seven games. And what about Richie Sexson hitting a spectacular 249% albeit with 14 homers and 49 rbi's so far. POINT...I'm not impressed with the M's bats and they are facing a good pitcher tonight.
Nats and patterson: Lot more nugs to back the under in this dugout. Let's start with patterson...
*In 7 home starts he is averaging 6.23 innings a start. His home ERA is 2.08.
*In 43 home innings pitched he has 37 K's and 18 Walks. I'll take that all day.
*Chad Cordero and Eddie Guardado are amazing converters this year. Guardado is 17/18 in save opportunities.>Cordero 17/19 and hasn't blown a home one this year...POINT...two good pitchers will get the game into the hands of two of the better set up and closer pens in MLB. Don't believe me..look at Ayala and Mejewski's amazing numbers as set up men. In a combined 63 innings of work...Majewski and Ayala have allowed 19 runs. They are strong! In fact Majeski just allowed his first runs of the year 2 weeks ago.
Fellas, I am on the under in this game. I shot BP a loser last night and this is my getback play on that one...so BP..you know what I got on it.
And I can't believe Arizona State. I took them as a +380 ML dog and the bastards had a wild pitch and a balk to cost me an upset win against Cal State Fullerton. Takis I disagree, the NBA isn't rigged, it's college baseball and EUFA.
Allright, the rest of my card:
Backing the hot Oliver Perez and the well playing Pirates ML -155 (2 units)
Backing the St Louis cardinals and Mulder -105 (2 units)
Backing Marlins/Rangers over 8 1/2 Leiter/Rogers (2 units)
Backing Cle/San Fran over 8 1/2 (3 units)
Parlaying
Pittsburgh -155, StLouis-105, Washington -145 for 1 unit.
Good luck all...Tropical Storm Arlene wiped out my golf round.
Let's roll!

A stong 2-0 last posting thursday on under DET/SA and SAN FRAN. Not loving the saturday board too much yet, which is unusual for me, but a couple ticklers.
METS -110 2 UNITS (Tough match up, but see some value in Benson today at home)
PISTONS +6 2 UNITS (Although I see SA as the better team and have them winning it all, I see a long tough series, think they can keep it close tonight, possibly even win, but will stick to the points)
JUNE POSTINGS
7-3 +14.8 UNITS
