  1. SAN ANTONIO -6.5 (I'll wait to see what happens in this game, and then come with some plays based on the outcome of this one)

    Series Prediction:

    Spurs in 7 (no need to wager here as I already have cash waiting for me in Vegas no matter who wins this series)

  5. ok fellas took a little time off as I as moving into my new home. Didn't have time to cap but I'm back. Yesterday hit nicely with straight play on marlins and yankees as well as parlaying those two teams. Those that were in the chat room I hope you played them with me. Onto today's b-ball play.

    This is the epitome of what I look for when playing an ‘Under’. Detroit is ranked No. 1 in the Eastern Conference, as well as No. 1 in the NBA in points per game allowed. San Antonio is ranked No. 1 in the Western Conference and No. 2 in the NBA in points per game allowed. When two teams of this nature collide, the result is almost always a slow paced, grind it out, “defense wins championshipsâ€Â

  6. here's one more game that I found. This info is very interesting.

    Reasons why I like the Mets tonight:

    1) the Astros are a pitiful 6-23 on the road (even including yesterday's win), while the Mets are a very solid 21-12 at home;

    2) Glavine has really pitched well lately, with a 2.70 ERA in his last 3 games. In his one start against Houston this year, he went 6 innings, allowing only 4 hits, 1 earned run, and had 6 strikeouts;

    3) Pettitte's road record this year is 1-3, having pitched 31.1 innings, allowing 36 hits and 7 walks. In his last 3 starts vs. the Mets (dating back to last year), he has gone 16.3 innings, allowing 19 hits and 7 walks. In his one start against the Mets this year, he went 5.1 innings, allowing 9 hits and 2 walks;

    4) the Mets career batting averages against Pettitte are awesome. Check out these numbers (the # in parentheses after the batting average is the # of at-bats): Beltran .400 (25); Floyd .364 (11); Cairo .294 (31); Mientkiewicz .400 (15); Woodward .444 (9); Wright .500 (6); and Reyes .333 (3);

    5) the Mets as a team have an NL best team batting average vs. lefty pitchers of .306, and they are the #1 NL team in runs scored against leftys (86), tied for #1 in HRs against leftys (22) and 4th in hits against leftys (170);

    6) conversely, the Astros are the worst NL team against left-handed pitchers, with a team batting average against leftys of .219. They are 15th (of the 16 NL teams) in HRs against leftys (10), 15th in hits against leftys (122) and the NL's worst team (16 out of 16) in runs scored against leftys (46); and

    7) the Mets are a MUCH better team than the Astros and, coming off of last night's loss, I absolutely believe that they will beat Houston tonight as they try to keep pace in the tight NL East.

    There you have it. Those are the reasons why I believe the Mets will beat the Astros tonight. Take the Mets -155.

  10. hey ladies!

    TQ is back - been on holiday/moving house too (what a frigging Nightmare)....

    had the odd bet but all been a bust out since had no time to really do it right....

    tonight, Spurs ML is my bet, but odds too skinny.

    Under is a great look - spurs could be rusty so slow start + low fg pc then you have pistons possibly tired and could have same thing with low fg pc...

    see it bout 88-82, spurs clinch down the stretch, with a big thing being duncan nailing his ft these days bar his 3-12 showing in game4 vs phoenix... (wait for it... he'll throw bricks tonight after this jinx!)

    My Finals pick is Spurs ML & Under 177.5

    BP & Crew - give them HELL !!!

  14. Went 1-2 yesterday in baseball; here are my bets for tonight:

    1) Twins (+118) 1 unit - Lohse has pitched good the last month.

    2) Mariners (+190) 1/2 units - Good value play, Mariners playing better and Florida has struggled.

    3) Phillies (-130) 1 unit - Phillies are on fire and Padilla has pitched good since coming back from injury.

    4) Pistons/Spurs under 176 - Should of bet this earlier this week.

    June Record:

    MLB 7-6 -.3 units overall 48-43 +1.85 units

    NBA 1-0

    Good luck everyone!! :D
