Back to business tomorrow with one play:
INDIANA -4 (the Pacers will get it done tonight and close out the series with a double digit win)
Opinion:
DALLAS +3.5 (the road team has covered every game, and I don't see that trend changing tomorrow; the Mavs just might win this SU; it should be a tight game)

Happy night for me... But not resting on any laurels. Have to keep making gains and making up for a disappointing April. Plus the fact that once the NBA is over, I'll be taking a long rest from serious gambling til the NFL season.
So on with it. No prizes for guessing what I'm on tonight...

Ok so maybe I shouldn't post here. 0-2 on my frist day and it didn't get better as I also laid on the nuggets getting 9.5. The Bulls made for a very bad day yesterday. If I had known that there plan was to go down by 20 and see if they could come back, I probably wouldn't have taken them. The twins obviously miss rincon and that cost me as well. HOping to make a little comeback today.
Best bet: -125 - Bosox. Jason johnson is one pitcher that i go against every time out (him and kirk rueter) and boston is jsut crushing the ball -- especially against righties.
2 other picks
Over in the Cubs game: 9 - glover should get smoked and maddux is always good to give up 3 or 4 runs.
Twins: -110 - gonna try again with the twinkies. I don't like going against CC but i think that it just gives me a better line this time out.

I feel used after yesterday. The atlanta under pushes b/c of an error. Ouch. The Angels/M's score 6 runs in the first 3 innings and 1 in the next 6, OUCH. Oh well at least the DRays come through again. I have to go out of town for a death in the fam so I won't be posting for a few days. Today I do like:
DRays again +155 (5 units) Why are the Yanks still favored by this large # on the road w/ a rookie pitching. I'll take the DRays again, they hit nicely the last 2 days at a real nice + clip. Let's ride the Rays and fade the Yanks

So it pretty much looks as if the Pacers will shut down the Celtics and proceed into the second round....I have to disagree, although I do believe Pacers take this series but not tonight..

pulled out tough games with the sox and the cubs over and had an easy twins victory. 3-0 in the afternoon after yesterdays disaster.
tonight:
Not too high on either NBA game. If i had to pick, i'd go Celts and Mavs. But I will not make either a pick. SO:
Cards -180
Braves -170
I really don't like laying those odds but i like the games too much to lay off.
The Pads can't hit and are just not half as talented as the cards. I know morris has pitched against some weak competition so far so i am not taking this based no him. The padres are overmatched everywhere (except RP with linebrink and otsuka) so I have to lay the big number.
Houston offense is even more anemic than the Pads. I know they've been hitting as of late but that is the exception - not the norm. atlanta is great at home and backe is awful on the road. again, i have to lay the line.
