The Wizards started out strong, but fell apart in the third quarter, and ultimately did not cover. This series is going seven games. The home team may win every game. On to today's huge plays:
DALLAS +1.5 (SPECIAL PLAY) (Playoff Game of the Week)
NEW JERSEY +3 (SPECIAL PLAY)

DALLAS +105 (The Mavs are too good to get swept, and they have been awesome on the road; I realize they are down 0-2, but the pressure is off to perform well and win in front of the home crowd; the Mavs have been road warriors, and they get it done tonight)
NEW JERSEY +135 (Not so fast Miami; You will win this series, but not before dropping this game in Jersey; the Nets stick it to the Heat at home where they have played extremely well since Kidd returned to the lineup after missing the early part of the season)

I am really getting rightly peeved the way my luck has gone last 2 days.
Chelsea didnt win, so a massive profit disappeared, and then my big play which I went a little heavier then I should've got bust by Chicago handing Washington another lesson in how to hold a lead... Washington are just heart-breakingly bad at holding leads!! Game 1&2 wash had several big leads and just couldnt sustain.
I tell ya now, the axiom that Defence Wins Championships, and Defence wins Series is pretty much holding true so far in the playoffs...
With that in mind, I am taking 3 strong defensive teams tonight.
Miami -2 ** (I got this yesterday soon as it came out!)
Indiana -2 ** (bought the hook)
Houston ML **
You dont have to read too much into these plays, they are obvious choices, possibly trappy looking (Miami) but Nets have been unable to live with them. Indiana will do it at home too I think.
Sorry JD, but all along I have said that I dont buy into Dallas being good enough, and possibly this is a good situational bet, and i TOTALLY see why you are playing it, but I just dont think that Houston will let up their defensive intensity. I just believe in the playoffs, the angles etc just dont apply as much as the regular season - but hey, what'd I know??

Went 1-0 in MLB and 1-0 in NBA on posted plays yesterday. Here is my one bet this evening:
Pacers (-2.5) - Miller is clutch in the playoffs and aren't going to give home court advantage back to Boston.
