I don't know why I torture myself with Game 1's in the First Round of the playoffs b/c I rarely come out ahead. And as usual, I have to play from behind now. Here we go with both games today:
INDIANA +3.5 (I am not fooled by that Game 1 blowout; the Pacers come back strong tonight and get the W)
DALLAS -7 (there is a reason this line is so high, and that's b/c the Mavs will make their adjustments and win by double digits)
INDIANA +150 (ML) (definitely worth a play on the outright win)
DALLAS -320 (ML) (plain and simple: the Mavs will win this game) (I'm not afraid to play money line favs. in the playoffs b/c the games mean so much more)
Yesterday's Plays: 0-1
Loss:
SAN ANTONIO (now the Spurs may have to go 7 to win this series)

Everything I thought about yesterdays games turned out to come true. I didn't believe in San Antonio, I DID! believe in DENVER, (I think they could win it all.) I believed in Chicago and Phoenix, I thought Washington and Memphis were quote unquote fakers. Nor am I sold on Boston, even after the blowout, never liked New Jersey. Well anyway that's enough of that, but I can say this. The next Suns game will be low scoring. FLAPJACK'S almost done. Pass the syrup.

Zito rebounds tonights and the A's bats won't stay silent long !! The Sox take a step up in class tonight after facing the royals and recieving all they want while the A's drop in class tonight after facing the Angels !!!
To many talented athletes to be shut down again and teh White Sox will find out real quick. Could be a close game and the only reason why this wasn't played RL is b/c of the A's bats !!

Good start in the NBA playoffs with the Miami Heat, 2-0 on my latest because I reset me record but I left with a 67-32-1 record..hate this play tonight because I am a Houston Rockets fan...

poor 1-3 last night but hit on my big play again with Phoenix... so thats 2-0 on 3* plays
going with boston -3.5 tonight. Just think the celtics reserves stepped up very well esp Al Jefferson - really think he is a solid bench forward. Also, had a concern that the return of jermaine oneal might take a little away from the nice scoring balance established by jackson and miller, I think they defer a little too much to oneal now - not an awful lot but it was obvious that they were trying to establish the low post threat the last day and it didnt quiet cut...
Boston * -3.5
As for Dallas, not thrilled on this game, but doubling it up ML with Boston ML - and thats my only bet tonight, but would take Boston singlebut prefer the above evens return...
