That was definitely a nice rebound day! Time to roll some more today! Here we go:

GOLDEN STATE -6 (let's continue to pick on the Spurs, but this time we have the second hottest team in the league; I like this one the most, but not enough for a SPECIAL PLAY)

DETROIT +3 (this is the team to end the Heat's 18-game home winning streak)

    SACRAMENTO -11

    CHARLOTTE +12.5

    Yesterday: 5-1

    Wins:

L.A. CLIPPERS (SPECIAL PLAY) (Game of the Week) (it was a tight one, but I squeaked out the cover)

DENVER (this team is beyond silly right now; I'm curious to see if they will be able to carry this momentum into the playoffs; if they get the right matchup, they could grab a first round win, and if they are lucky, maybe sneak their way into the conf. finals, but I doubt it)

HOUSTON (this is the team to look out for in the playoffs; they could do some damage if they are healthy)

CLEVELAND (that was a must win over a bad team; they have to win games like that)

ATLANTA (it's a miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!! the Hawks WIN!!!!!!!! what was that? did I just say that the Hawks actually won a game? I think I'm about to collapse right now! I think the Hawks can now get ready to play some golf, and better yet, maybe they won't show up for the season next year)

    Loss:

TORONTO (the Bulls rolled over me again as they have done for most of the season)

Post Super Bowl NBA Record: 131-120-5

    30-24 (SPECIAL PLAYS)

    4-4 (GOW)

    0-1 (GOM)

    1-0 (GOY)

Still haven't updated the record but hit that Angels over and went 1-1 ATS yesterday in MLB.

    Here's my card for today:

    Best Bet: Cards/Phillies under 9 1/2 -110 (5 units for me)

First two games in the series have gone over with the #4 and #5 pitchers going for both teams. Lieber and Carpenter toe the hill today. I'm high on Carpenter and predicted he would smoke his first start out in Houston which he did. Today I see a quality pitchiing matchup. I like the under 9 1/2 and the Cards to rebound today with Carpenter once again looking lights out in his home opener and first game pitched in Busch since July of last year.

Roll on under 9 1/2 (5 units for me)

Roll on StL ML and under 9 1/2 parley ( 1 unit for me)

    Other game:

I'm on Johan and the White Sox at -155 ML. Santana (as our West Coaster Billz will tell you) is free money and covered like a slot machine last year hitting on the ML 10 out of 11 times to end the season. Johan gave us a scare in his first start of the season but still got the job done against a much improved M's team. With Chicago roping Radke and the boys in the homer dome, I see Santana getting it done today. Buehrle pitched well against Cleveland getting a 1-0 win for the Sox in his first start. Twinkies bats wake up today and give Buehrle the "L". ROll with Johan and the Twins.

Risking 3.1 units to win 2

Good luck all, if 2-0 today I'll finish the first week of MLB about even. If I lose these early plays, I'll chase and roll on the night game. Have a great day. Tee Time is at 2:09.

It's not time for me to post picks just yet probably after 12. But I have to say that yesterday was full of surprises, especially how poorly the Suns played, wow. At golden state they could hit every 3 and at home they couldn't hit a 2. Strange :)

Here are my picks for today, the LOCK game is listed at the top.

    PICK! INDIANA PACERS (-8)

This team is on fire lately and plays even better at home, and is playing against a defeated and demoralized NY team, -8 you say? How about -16. Indiana Pacers to win by 20 + points today in a game that gets away from NY early.

    PICK! DETROIT (-1)

    PICK! LAKERS (+11)

    PICK! NEW ORLEANS

    PICK! MEMPHIS

    PICK! SAN ANTONIO

J.D and T.Q, sorry I had to become a PACERS fan but I just don't see NY having any gas in the tank left.
