What an ugly night for me last night! OUCH!!! Three big play losers in one night hurts bad! I'll just forget about that one! On to tonight:
CLEVELAND -3.5
TORONTO +12
Yesterday: 3-4
Wins:
CHARLOTTE +5 (this was a gift considering the line came back down to 4 when it was announced that Okafor would play, but I needed the gift last night)
DALLAS +2.5
GOLDEN STATE -5
Losses:
PORTLAND -2 (SPECIAL PLAY) (Game of the Week) (that's enough GOW's on bad teams this year; the Blazers keep screwing me in the best situations; maybe b/c they are BAD!!!!!)
PHILADELPHIA +4.5 (SPECIAL PLAY) (they shouldn't be in the playoffs if they can't go on the road and get a win against a playoff team who beat them at home; but then again, 75% of the Eastern Conf. shouldn't be in the playoffs)
DENVER +6.5 (SPECIAL PLAY) (what the hell happened to the Nuggets at the end of this game?; oh yeah, they forgot to play defense; go figure, I play on them now, and of course, they lose)
MEMPHIS Pick
Post Super Bowl NBA Record: 105-99-3
24-20 (SPECIAL PLAYS)
3-4 (GOW)
0-1 (GOM)
1-0 (GOY)

ATS 21-14-1
Going to try finish the month on a high ... couldnt post last night, had ok night, but detroit cost me so so much in potential profit... they really are not the same team as last year, first round knockout, made all the more bitter by it being Pacers who do it...
Tonight, I like a couple plays, so going to hit 'em:
Both are 3* plays
Cavs -3.5 >>>> (ok - dont mind the OT last night) this is a small number and I like the cavs to cover by 8+ here. Clips are done for the year, so dont expect to see much fight outta them, and this is a case of 2 teams who play far better at home than on the road. Clips covered the number at t-wolves (a poor twolves this year) but that game was it for them - they had to beat the twolves in what was the 1st game in a long road trip, having failed to so that they are effectively out of the playoff chase. Dont forget that these players regularly have 'no-show' nights, so why would you even expect them to bring it tonight when they have NOTHING to play for? Cavs can close to 1 game behind chicago and 2 games behind washington with a win tonight putting them with home court in the 1st rnd. Thats a big incentive and you have to believe thats what theyre after.
Memphis -3.5 >>>> OK, this is another case of scenarios. 2 very good teams, but 1 has less to play for and thats the Sonics. Bad karma there too at the moment, with Fortson being a little bitch. Sonics have got nothing but momentum to play for right now. The #3 spot is locked, and its not likely that they believe they can catch spurs or suns. To that end, it looks like Nate might hold out Rashard Lewis from this game as he has been playing hurt the last couple. With Fortson and Lewis out, added to Vlad Rad being injured, Sonics will have to rely on some serious backcourt contributions, as well as some bench points. They will be outrebounded and outscored in the paint tonight. Also, memphis can match them for perimeter scoring, maybe not 3 for 3, but enough to offset the high percentage of 3's the sonics throw up.
Griz by 8 too
