My play for you guys today fellas
This is a pure and simple power rankings call, as formulas suggest Louisville is far and away the better of these two teams. Washington checks in at a terrific 28-5 SU and 17-15 ATS overall, but is in the red at 14-5 SU and 9-10 ATS when on the road this year.
In addition, the Huskies are a woeful 4-9 ATS on the road vs. teams with a winning record and an overvalued 5-8 ATS in their past thirteen games on the board. We should also mention that UW is just 2-2 ATS priced as a pup and will be facing arguably the hottest team in college basketball.
Louisville rolls into this contest at an eye-popping 31-4 SU (17-15 ATS) overall and an equally stunning 16-2 SU (9-8 ATS) when on the road. The Cardinals are additionally 20-1 SU their past twenty games on the board and are a spotless 4-0 ATS this year in competitively priced games (defined as +3 to -3).
And for those that question the Redbirds strength of schedule, let me quickly put that argument to rest. Louisville has faced and beaten numerous tournament teams this season, including the likes of Stanford, Florida, Cincinnati (twice), Charlotte (twice) and UAB (twice). This is not to mention the Cardinals are fresh off a definitive 76-54 blowout win over a previously red-hot GA Tech squad.
Fundamentally speaking; each of these teams can score with the best of them, as the Huskies and Cardinals both average better than 80 points per game of offense. However, the real difference makerâ€â€

Alrighty I went 7-6 posted in the first round which was not very good but i did much better than that in reality finished up quite a bit so hopefully we will roll that into the next 2 rounds...
LOUISVILLE -1.5 This is shaping up too be a great game with lots of scoring as long as they both shoot like they usually do, that being said I think Louisville has the edge simply b/c they are a better team, they are more rounded and if they play like they normally do should lead throughout and finish strong however if u all saw the Lafayette game u would know they are lucky too be here period... Now the line hasn't moved since it opened which is a bit scary, it says people are either not betting it or everybody is split down the middle, i'm leaning towards the former but I don't buy into Washington and feel they will go down here... Louisville by 6
TEXAS TECH -2 This might be my favorite game of the sweet 16... Texas Tech has really shown a lot of heart in the tourney so far and will continue it here not too say WVA hasn't, I mean they held on to be beat Creighton when they really should have lost and they beat Wake nicely... I feel Texas Tech is better coached and with their best player a walk-on in Ross going back home to Albuquerque they will find a way too get past WVA... As i said this is my favorite game, Texas Tech by 9
GL whatever your on, oh and JD you were damn right yesterday about my C's they absolutely puked!!!!!

What's up guys?
I am so F*CKING PUMPED for this weekend's games it's insane. Tonight is going to be a blur with my roomate being a WVU grad - 9:40 tip off, 11:40 strait to the strip club for $50 handjobs!
As much as I'd like to see WVU win (because he'd be so happy he'd cover my fun dance), I don't like the mountaineers enough to bet on them, so for karma's sake I'm staying away.
What I am taking:
Louisville -1.5 -
like stated above, they are on fire and simply the better team. Everyone knows they got the shaft as a 4 seed. Should pull away in the end.
UW-Mil +10.5 - I hope it moves up another 1/2 point before gametime before I hammer it
ILL has been playing down to their competition in the first two rounds IMO and UW-Mil is still being underrated by the line makers! Check it out...
-Wiksy-Mil is 14-2 ATS on the road this season; 6-1 ATS as an Underdog, and 18-7 total. They are also 6-0 ATS when the O/U is between 140-149.5
Granted it's basically a home game for the Illini but UW-Mil will be playing loose with 0-pressure to advance, whereas the entire country has ILL in the final 4. If UW-Mil can force 15+ turnovers and shoot close to 50% this game should be a nail biter.

ATS RECORD 14-12-1
Going with several plays, in order of preference:
I fancy hitting all these tonight ... 5-0 and boost the record, and my bottom-line!
Denver -9 (I hate going with a team on a long ATS good run - but lakers are a tired beat up team and denver are going to be massively motivated to kick kobe outta the playoffs for good)
Grizzlies +1 (this is just a money team ATS - and now they're getting Gasol back; pity he hasnt got a few more mins under his belt)
Seattle -4 (another money team ATS on the road; against the team thats given up first this season)
Charlotte +8 (how horrible are orlando... charlotte may have started giving up on their season but they have covered big numbers all year against better teams, no reason to not cover this against a team in a desperate slide)
Houston -6.5 (Cavs poor travellers going to top west ATS team and championship contenders... only worry is let down after beating miami)
