I have what I think are some great tourney props for you guys:
#1 Big East Over 8.5 Wins -145 Should play out like this conservatively.
Uconn 2, Cuse, 2, Nova 2, BC 1, Pitt 1, WV 1
And that is being conservative. I think Uconn or the Cuse could have a big run.
#2 Syracuse more wins than Florida -130. Florida is a proven tourney choker, and the Cuse play the nasty 2-3 zone.
#3 My biggest bet over OVER me drinking 8 Guinesses today (St. Patty's Day) I am playing this one HUGE. GL in the tourney all.
My regular plays today are:
BC -6 (They have something to prove and are much bigger than Penn)
Pitt -4 (They are going to be too physical for Pacific)

Well Well Well... That was a nervous albeit, easy win over Seattle yesterday for Detroit -5.5, that's two Game of 2005 plays that have cashed the vegas ticket two times in a row. Also an easy play on Houston, which I took the spread line and doubled it to -21, Houston STILL covered EVEN THAT line, not bad Portland, not bad. Sorry about the miss on HOTLANTA. I don't know what I was thinking about that prediction, they will get their home win soon enough, but not last night.

So, who does GOTLUCK like tonight?
THE ONE I LIKE THE MOST is PORTLAND (+12) Oh, and go ahead and bite on that OVER for that game as well, maybe you want to do a little parlay or such.
I'm also liking MIAMI @ HOME tonight (-10), sorry lakers, but you really aren't very good lately. And hey, let's go ahead and make it MIAMI - 20 as well, kind of like I doubled Houston last night. Lakers can't keep up.
And finally, GOLDEN STATE, pick GOLDEN STATE I believe they will do quite well tonight.
And just to add, PORTLAND (+12) is my GAME OF 2005 #3

Ride LSU all the way to the bank!! Brandon Bass is a sure fire Lottery pick!! They will blow UAB out by more than 10! He's my Dwyayne Wade of the SEC!!
Utah has the best player in the nation- hand's down! They will easily cover the 3.
Look out for Niagra- They will give Oklahoma fits today!
Alabama should easily cover the 5 they are laying! Another classic example of a tournament tested team with a superstar in the making.

ha ha Kubex..I did the same shit last year.
here's my top two plays for the early games. here is what I will do, I will post one to two plays per each 3 hour round of games. I will "string" bet with a heavy hitter and an average play or just an average play on each round. So look here for my plays if you want them during the day or in the chat. I am bunkered in and ready to go to war today. LETS ROLL!!!!
Early game plays for Thursday:
Total: Play on under 142 Bama game. These boys will be nervous on both sides and neither team is particularly well known for 3's. early games trend wise usually go under. I like the fact that Bama prides itself on having a defense that turns the ball over for it's 1/2 court sets. Bama will have to deal with the press, but that should be great for the under play. 7 seconds across the line and then fall into your 1/2 court sets bama.
STRONG PLAY on under 142
Average play: I'll roll with Ricky and prove last year wasn't a fluke. Big XII Dominance run starts again today with Texas at a pick em. The Horns and Coach barnes can play with anyone in the country when they so choose. Vermont..who in the hell has Vermont played ranked in the top 50 RPI or SOS wise....Texas has played 5 yes 5 top 25 RPI and 4 ranked teams in the last 3 weeks. I'll take Texas who plays heavyweights all year against a soft, but talented Nevada team.
Roll on UT at a pick em.

I have been on a tear lately and really like these games will also be following some of you, Love this time of year baby!!!!!!
CREIGHTON +2 - Love this game, Creighton is the perennial MVC Rep.... They are 9-2 as a dog and 7-2 as a road dog, they have some real good quality wins in MO., Ohio St, Xavier, Wichita 2x, and N. Iowa 2x and lost too SIU 2x. WVA beat Pitt 2x and we know what they did in the Big East tourney but I think they may be worn out and Creighton will win, it will be a shoot out with lots of 3's being put up so watch the over of 134.5 as well...
ALABAMA -5 - Bama is 12-5 as a fav. but are a young team, early in the year lost at Wash. by only 3 which says a lot b/c Wash. was real hot at the beginning of the year, simply put bama played a much tougher schedule than Wisc.-Milw. for example their only quality win is Air Force and that ain't saying much... So I like bama quite a bit here...
BC -6 - BC is just a much better team here this line is a joke too me Penn's only quality win is St. Joe's ans that ain't saying much, BC as we know has slipped a bit lately but they are pissed they got a 4 seed and are 11-0 non-conf. with quality wins over Syracuse and Uconn...
PACIFIC +4 - I love Pacific they have cleaned up for me all year, I hear a lot of people saying this is a great game for Pitt. to get off the toilet and start winning but I just don't see it here this is a perfect upset game for Pacific and it will show a real statement... Rememeber they won 22 in a row including wins over Utah St. 2x, @ Nevada, and UTEP, they did loose @ Kansas but played them very well, Pitt. has slumped quite a bit, anyone rememeber that lose to Bucknell?? This screams of the same thing.... PACIFIC WINS!!!
OKLAHOMA -12 - I know it's double digit points but come on look at the difference in schedule and quality opponents, Niagara is not a bad team but OK is far superior and if they start out hot could run away with a 30+ point win, like this game quite a bit...

I'm also on Creighton at +2. WVA is rock solid..but Creighton has pulled off some big wins in the dance. Just ask any Gator fan! have a good one all.
