MINNESOTA +5 (SPECIAL PLAY)
UTAH +8
SEATTLE -1.5
SACRAMENTO -5
I really like the Knicks as well, but I want to wait for that line to get to 6.5 or 7, and then I would buy the half or full point. I'll wait to post this one, and I'll just post what the line is if I still like it b/c I never factor in half or full points in my posts. I personally don't recommend buying points very often in the NBA, but there are some spots that I would do it (like this one).
Yesterday: 3-2
Wins:
MEMPHIS -8.5 (SPECIAL PLAY)
ATLANTA +8
GOLDEN STATE +3.5
Losses:
CHARLOTTE +4 (SPECIAL PLAY) (GOM) (all I can say is: my bad; I missed that one, and I am very bitter about it; I would play that game the same way a thousand times over, and I know I would win most of the time, but last night wasn't my night; well, now I have a loss in that particular betting situation; I guess that's just a sign of how my season has gone; props to those who stuck with the Celtics, even though I believe it was totally the wrong play, but that's only my opinion, so I'll just leave it at that; a win is a win, and a loss is a loss, and that's all that really matters)
L.A. LAKERS +2
Post Super Bowl NBA Record: 69-67-1
16-13 (SPECIAL PLAYS)
2-2 (GOW)
0-1 (GOM)
TQ, Unfortunately many lost on that Houston game b/c they had 3.5's. some pushed b/c there were 3's out there as well. But where did you get your 2.5? I did not see a 2.5 anywhere, and I see lines from numerous sportsbooks at different hours of the day. Just curious. Did you buy it? I notice that a lot of the lines you post are most often 1 or more points below what the line is in most places. I'd like to know where you're getting your lines from b/c I could use that sportsbook next year when I get a good bankroll back together after this disastrous NFL season.
BigP, My bad for taking you off the C's if you didn't play them, but in the long run, these plays that look easy will crush you in the long run. My advice would be not to jump on the next one just b/c this one was a winner. GL tonight!

FIGHT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT, Saturday Night there is a BIG FIGHT!!! I been waiting a long time for this fight!!!!!!!!!!!!
MANNY PACQUIAO v. ERIK MORALES
Wow, Boxing its tuff to find fights where lines are favorable since the juice could be Horendous! This fight is evenly matched....
Pacquiao -130
Morales Even
Draw +1800
Total Rounds
O 10 1/2 -130
U 10 1/2 Even
Since really there is no favorite I would drop on whoever u are rooting for since one way its even money and the other way its just juice! Shit drop $100 on the draw line for shits and giggles to win $1800 ha! U never know! and I personally like the favored Over 10.5 rds! But who knows!!!!
FYI.... Most Boxing Fanatics im associated with think Erik "El Terrible" Morales will win this fight, so as even money that could be a nice bet! But The Truth of the matter is this, Im expecting ONE HELL of a fight, So i may just bet something like the OVER and maybe a lil on the Draw and watch this great fight!! IF I GET THE BALLS, i will drop on a side!!!!! I just thought id share with u this matchup, and if i were u, WATCH this fight!!!!

W. Mich +2.5 was easy money last night.
But I did lose the Rockets late. line was 4 at my book and bought down to 3.5.
I am still in shock about that game! 18 pt lead and win by 3. Horrible!!
Jdelt- I played small on Charlotte just to see what would happen but no biggie. We will get them next time. Celts are just too damn hot right now!!
GL today

Hey JD, its a fair point;
I primarily use Bet365.com, and i generally take the price as early as its posted (bet365 tend to be very reactive to market changes so unless ur grabbing an early price, then avg value - but they are very good I find) all prices -110
Yesterday I played that bet with Stanjames.com (now they are very slow to change price etc - that 2.5 was up there well into the day before moving to 3.5) but all their prices are -120
The last place I get good value is ladbrokes.com, they post early and then hold the spread regardless, but simply change the odds, so they might post -2.5 @ -120 and as the day goes on push the price to -150 etc etc whereas other books would push out a half point etc
So sometimes they post a price thats way off and i JUMP on it. Like last year, NYK-NYN game - end of year, jefferson kidd and martin were all scheduled to sit out the game in the garden (it was there on the news clippings) but ladbrokes posted the game as NYK +4.5 when all the other books posted it up as NYK-6 later in the day ; (NYK won by 16 I think)
But my general rule of thumb is take the best line you can find - regardless. I have about 6-7 accounts that I use and make sure I am getting best value. And I vouch 100% for these books - they are all very respectable UK-Gibralter based books

I'm posting it b/c something is telling me that the Knicks are going to knock off the Heat tonight:
NEW YORK +5.5 (the line reached 6.5 late this morning, but was pounded back down to 5.5 by, what I believe, is the smart money on this particular game; 5.5 is where it's at now, so that's what I'm posting)
Thanks for the info., TQ. I'd like to take a look into those books.

ok....
trappy night tonight; I like cleveland but i think they match up badly so cover not great option, but they could spank utah, but its a toss up ats. lakers-philly, 2 bad teams, same thing for minny-dallas. Sac should win but hard to like the cover, but equally dont like orlando. Heat ats machine but could be stopped ats, possibly lose SU, but i'd rather be riding on shaqs back than marburys anyday.
Summary???
Taking ML parlay of Heat / Cavs / Dallas / Sac / 76ers
100 returns 550... what the hell
only other play am considering is the seattle-bulls game - could be a good play here, so check back later.

going with Clev -7 (bought half point this time!) -120
I liked it all day and seeing som many go against spooked me a little but sticking to it now. cavs had nice rest for few days before the pacers game, now theyre going for 3in a row, theyre feeling the pressure to stay in the playoff seeds and maybe climb a spot or two... utah, big game sunday, but i just dont think they have it to stay with cleveland.
big game from clevlands front court and they wanna show boozer whether hes there or not that he shouldnt have left them.
clev 13-5 when 6-9pt favs / utah 6-10 when dogs on that scale.
utah awful against the east ats 8-16
cleveland win ats as long as they dont bother wasting shots from behind the arc
