we lost yesterday on the Okie State over. Sorry bout that, thought it was money. I'll see you guys in about a week. It's Madness time.
Quick note:
There are 4 fantasy baseball openings in two different leagues. One of these leagues has 2 gotpicks players, the other just me. Entry fee is $150.00 with a head to head scoring system. It's on CBS and you draft live online with the rest of the league. Please send me a PM if you want in. First come, first serve. Wolfman, your in one of those leagues if you want to be. I'll PM you the scoring system from those leagues. They are head to head.
So..basically after I confirm with wolfman, there are 3 openings for fantasy baseball. Have a good one all. It's Madness time!!!!! Catch you guys in the cardroom and chat.

AFTER LOOKING OVER THE CHARLOTTE/BOSTON GAME I AM ASKING MYSELF WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER THIS GAME AS A GAME OF MONTH?
CHARLOTTE IS HORRIBLE. THEY HAVE LOST 9 OF 10 LAST GAMES. CHARLOTTE HAS LOST 16 OF 18 AND 17 OUT OF LAST 20 GAMES. CHARLOTTE HAS LOST 4 OF 5 AND 7 OF LAST 9 HOME GAMES. CHARLOTTE HAS LOST 12 OF LAST 15 HOME GAMES. CHARLOTTE IS 0-5 ON MONDAY NIGHT.
THERE IS MORE BUT I'M TIRED AND HAVE TO GO TO WORK.

I agree bigpimp. I need someone to play devil's advocate to tell me why I shouldn't take Boston only spotin 3pts.
Boston has won 7 out of their last 8 and is one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now. Boston beat them by 20pts just 10 days ago (granted Brevin Knight didn't play, but since when did he drastically change outcomes of games)
Pierce is on fire and was named East Conf player of the week. Twon is still chucking up the ball but limiting his 3's to about 4 a game plus he's banging in the paint and getting 10 boards a game.
I'm sure the public is all over Boston. But I really see the Celts winning this by 8 or so.
I usually check the public's percentages on sportsbook, is there another place I can go to check out the public's percentage?
I'm also gonna ride the Red Rockets -3.5.

JD makes his living outta picking against the public - generally his special plays are money and hes been doing well on his GOW/GOM. And the more head-scratching his picks, the more i run for the hills from picking the opposite side!... and to be fair the line has dropped a point since last night...

Agree with JD Cats line down a point and no way public not betting Celts ! Line going wrong way now Cats +3 ! Looks like Philly game yesterday opened 2 went to 2.5 with Phiily action! Pimp you could have backed a Philly play with two pages of stats! Hated my Raptor bet yesterday but well.. hate this bet also but got to agree with JD BOBCATS + 3 for me! My take! GL either way!

Charlotte Write-Up:
Boston has won 7 of its last 8 games, but 5 out of 6 of those wins have come at home, where they are 24-10 SU overall this year. The Celtics have been just an average 4-4 ATS in their last 8 games overall. Let's take it further, and we see that Boston is 8-4 SU and only 4-8 ATS in its last 12 overall. On the road this year, the Celtics have been a way below average 10-19 SU & 12-17 ATS overall. The Celtics are a mere 1-3 SU & ATS as road favorites this year. Now, we move on to the Bobcats. Charlotte is only 2-13 SU over its last 15 games, but that is expected of an expansion franchise. What is important here is that the Bobcats are 9-4-2 ATS in this span. Both wins came at home, and speaking of home, the Bobcats are 5-1-2 ATS over their last 8 games at home, despite lsong 6 of those 8 games. The Bobcats have gone 16-12-2 at home ATS for the entire season. This team has fought hard to win games, only to fall just short in many of them. The situation that this game falls into is:
Betting home dogs playing for triple revenge against a team coming off a home game the previous night! I don't know what the exact record is for these games, but as I said earlier, I can't ever recall losing one of these rare plays. Bobcats win by 6-7 points!

Damn, talk about a juicy week...The juice was sucked right out of my skin...Damn again...Anyhow, before I post my plays...Why is it that we have all kinds of players in here who make selections and probably play them too not join the March Madness Bracket Pool? Only 6 people joined including my butt...Only 6 !!! We have too many people in here who post plays but can't cough up a measely $50.00 buckaroos??? Come on playas...We need to beef up this pool...Not too late to join I hope...Talk to Gyphin or Ricky...I'm in it to win it...Let's move on.

Regarding Wolfman's questions of why only 6 people are in the NCAA Pool -
Personally, I draw up 3 brakets and make 4 sets of them. We have an office pool (about 50 entries), a group of associates (about 80 entries), a local bar (about 200 entries), and a city wide tavern pool (about 1000 entries). The last thing I need is another pool.
Nothing personal guys, but I am pooled out pretty quickly.
Another reason that people don't enter is because the talent of the competition here at GotPicks --- One would be entering a pool versus the best talent in the USA - Just look at the fire power here at GotPicks - Much easier to take the chump's money here at the office --- LOL!!!
