No picks yet, but I did somethin I been meaning to do since the All Star break today - back Houston to win the NBA. AT the time I read an article saying that they were being quoted as 33-1 and to jump on for value - I found them at 50-1 at the time! by yesterday they were down to 33-1 at that bookie, but 25-1 at best in other places. this morning most others have them at 16-1...18-1, my book has them at 33-1, so investing 60 to return 2k... i believe they are the only team in the west capable of stopping Spurs due to the similar styles, albeit with a bigger superstar guard.
anyway - wont miss the 60...
still looking at memphis to whip portland tonight... record - cant remember but its just about over 500 now

TQ, Hopefully I can get into a groove the rest of the season! I haven't been on a nice streak since December! My college plays are rolling right now (10-4 in conf. tourneys so far)! I hope I can keep those plays rolling strong! I may be an idiot, but I think I am liking Portland today. I have to wait and see who is playing, watch for a solid line, and see where it goes. I saw an early line of Memphis -2.5 in a couple places, but that's it. I can't remember ever seeing a team lose ten straight ATS until now. New Jersey won 10 straight ATS last year, and I believe that's the most ATS wins in a row I have seen. I won't play Portland just to end the streak, but it will factor in if I do so. Good Luck! And b/c I am interested in the Blazers, Memphis will blow them up, and you will win!

Going with a bunch of favorites I think will come through as the reach for higher seedings and potenitally easier tourny runs.
Kentucky -6 - earn a two seed with a solid win here
Arizona -2.5 -- smelling a potential 1 seed??(though not likely)
Vermont -6.5 - a good team, who were the class of this league - but won't get in the tourny if they don't win this today
Syracuse -4.5 - held on yesterday - in a game closer in score than actual play. The D in 1st half was phenomenal
and my homer play on GW -2
I like the vermont game the most. Northeastern can score against the no names - put a little D in front of them and they are yours.

3plays today..Lost on K State yesterday, but hit the other big dogs including Iowa and WVA.
Today's Top 2:
JT, my man, I got all kinds of respect, but I'm gonna side with Vegas (pub is huge on Cuse) and roll on WVA again. They have won me cash all Big East tourney and I don't think they go anywhere today. Shut down Mac and you beat the Cuse. Watch WVA put the clamps on the gym rat today.

KU Play:
Lost last night to make it 9-3 ATS in the last 12. Today I'm on Okie State -3. This game is now huge for both teams with Wake falling and the possibility of Zona falling today (Go Huskies). This could be for a #1 if they make it to the finals. Remember that the Big XII championship is one of the last games on Sunday, so brackets are done before the game is over. This game will be a NCAA dance like atmosphere. I gotta back the over 143 as my top rated play on this game. I picked the cowboys in the handicapping contest, but I love this over. KU has never won a national championship when winning the Big VIII/Big XII tourney. JamesON Curry, Lucas, the Graham brothers all have scored over 80 points in their first two tournament games. With Okie States ability to bomb and the 80 I saw the Hawks put up last night..this total just doesn't look right. The public is also on the under.
PLAY ON OVER 143 in the KU/Okie State game. Overtime is a very real possibility as well. KU has the home crowd and it should be a free for all 1st half and a settle down possession second half. KU can't defend the 3 with Langford out and Hawkins, Miles, and Galindo are all better 3 point shooters than Langford. So, bombs away for both teams from the arc. Let's just hope they hit net on those tight rims.
2'nd Tier:
I'm also on Duke -6. last night was an emotional game for the Wolfpack as they wanted that one badly. Hodge is very talented, but Duke has a good ATS record against the Pack in this tourney traditionally. Dukies are playing for a #1 seed and NC is coming off an emotional win. I like Duke by double digits.

As u can see in this last week in a half its been hectic in the CBB, so dont play overboard, play confortable amounts as Build Up the right way take a little time, Dont try to get it all back in one play! GL.....

1) Memphis (-3.5) - Portland has lost last 10 ATS. Haven't seen a run like this since last year when Orlando started the year 1-18-1 ATS. Memphis is 5-1 ATS last 6 on the road and 13-5 ATS playing with no days rest. Also Portland is 0-6 ATS last 6 at home.
2) Pacific (+3) - Pacific won twice against Utah St this year and they are dogs? Hope I'm not getting suckered into what looks like a good bet.
