CFL JULY 30 BC @ EDMONTON

Hey Guys,

Just dabbling a bit with CFL before the real season begins.  Coming off a 2-0 night with the ALs last night.  So far, so good!

This is the second meeting between these two teams in less than 30 days.  BC comes into this game at 1-3 and Edmonton is staring at a goose egg 0-4.  BC won the first meeting 25-10 but lets look at the numbers a bit closer.  The yards were pretty much equal +34 BC.  The 1st downs & time of possession both favor Edmonton big time, 26 to 17 and 34:10 vs 25:50, respectively.  The key difference that lead to the 15 point loss was the turnovers for Edmonton 3 to 0.  Edmonton controlled the game for the most part but the fumbles cost them the game.  In this rematch, BC QB Printer who threw for 218 yards is out and back-up QB Lulay should get ther start.

We all know the trends clearly favour BC but I'm going with the desperate home team who should have won the first game imo.  I expect a very focused effort from the Eskimos tonight after their owner publicly announced his displeasure with he team's recent performance.
